LoanOptions.ai — Building futures, not just loans: the broker leaders giving back to the next generation
In an industry defined by constant change, the most powerful shifts are often driven not by products, but by people.
That's exactly what's playing out through the FIT Solutions program, co-founded by Victoria Coster and Beth Comino under Financial Literacy Education Pty Ltd — a national initiative bringing real-world financial education into schools through trained mortgage and finance brokers.
The program has now surpassed its initial targets, with 104 brokers onboarded and 68 schools either confirmed for Term 4 delivery or in the process of booking.
Backing the future without crossing the line
Julian Fayad, CEO of LoanOptions.ai, has signed on as a sponsor — and the distinction of how that support is structured matters.
FIT Solutions operates on a clear principle: education in schools must remain education-only. No advice, no product promotion, no lending pathways. LoanOptions.ai's involvement is positioned as a broker education and industry-impact partnership, not a consumer-facing initiative.
For Fayad, whose work centres on helping brokers operate more efficiently through technology, the alignment is straightforward. Supporting brokers to grow their businesses while contributing to the financial capability of the next generation represents a natural extension of that mission.
A broader shift for the industry
The program's expansion comes amid growing pressure for a coordinated national response to financial literacy. In February, Ecstra Foundation led a call to action urging the federal government to commit to a National Financial Capability and Wellbeing Strategy, citing falling financial literacy rates and the risk that young Australians would enter adulthood without essential money skills.
Delivered to Year 10 students, FIT Solutions covers budgeting, credit reporting, interest and savings, mortgages, and superannuation.
The Finance Brokers Association of Australia's chief development officer, Joanna James, noted the program would "provide the opportunity for brokers to make a difference in their community, by educating students in high schools."
Both Fayad and Coster were jointly recognised with the Industry Supplier of the Year award at the 2025 FBAA awards, alongside Credit Fix Solutions.
With approximately 100 brokers undergoing training ahead of Term 4 2026 and dozens of schools preparing to host sessions, FIT Solutions is shaping up as one of the most significant education-led initiatives the broker industry has seen — a reminder that the role of the broker extends well beyond the loan itself.
