Bridgit expands investment in Victoria with new Melbourne office

Sydney, Friday 18th September, 2026 – Fintech Bridgit, has today announced the opening of its Victorian office in Melbourne, marking a significant investment in the region. This is the company’s second physical office, alongside its Sydney headquarters.

This expansion reflects the sustained growth in demand from Victorian brokers and customers for Bridgit’s products, with the company reporting 69% growth in Victorian application volume over the past 12 months.

The new office will be home to a growing sales and credit team dedicated to supporting the state's aggregator network, giving Victorian brokers direct, local access to Bridgit's lending and support team. On top of this, the business will be investing in hiring across tech, product, marketing and operations.

Aaron Bassin, Founder & CEO, Bridgit, said on the opening, “The Victorian property market over the last twelve months has seen significant demand for Bridgit’s products. Because of this, it has been a business priority to invest heavily in our presence in the state. The team is working with a vast range of brokers and aggregator partners that have their headquarters there, so it was a natural next step to find a physical space. As we continue to hire exceptional talent for the region, I’m excited for the opportunity that this expansion will bring to the business.”

Bridgit's Victorian and Tasmanian operations are led by State Manager Jess Vaiano, who joined the business in August 2026 and will be responsible for deepening relationships with aggregators, increasing broker engagement, lifting Bridgit's presence in-market and face-to-face with brokers, and leading and developing the VIC/TAS sales team.
