Bridgit advances broker technology with Scenario Calculator, giving brokers real-time workshopping

Sydney, Tuesday 8 September, 2026 – Bridgit has launched its new Broker Scenario Calculator, to remove waiting times, putting real-time scenario workshopping directly in brokers' hands. The calculator, which sits in Bridgit’s proprietary-owned broker portal, connects brokers directly to real-time policy and pricing, letting them run numbers with customers and generate instant, accurate quotes.

The calculator is an industry-first, removing the manual process of out-dated systems, and continues to solidify Bridgit as a fintech leader.

The launch marks the first move in shifting Bridgit's broker service from responsive to self-serve, without losing the human support brokers rely on for anything more complex.

For brokers, the Scenario Calculator means:

  • Single-click to application - each scenario a broker builds live with a client can be converted straight into an application with one click.

  • Real-time policy adherence - brokers will see instantly if a deal fits policy, not after submission.

  • Reduced turnaround time – enabling brokers to maintain momentum with customers who are ready to proceed, without delay.

  • Greater autonomy – brokers can run calculations independently, on their own timeline and within their own client conversations.

  • The ability to progress deals at the point of highest intent – by workshopping scenarios live and in front of the customer, brokers can move directly to application when the customer is most engaged.

  • Continued access to support – the self-serve model does not replace human support. BDMs remain available for more complex scenarios, ensuring speed is added without any reduction in service.

Following on from winning the Fintech Lender of the Year at the 2026 MFAA National Excellence Awards, this launch further strengthens Bridgit as a leader in fintech solutions for brokers.

Aaron Bassin, Founder and CEO, Bridgit, said on the launch; "Brokers have been doing this job on excel spreadsheets for years and the recent ASIC review showcased to the market what that gets you; manual processes with no single source of truth. We built this calculator because that is not good enough anymore and the industry deserves better. Being a fintech means because we own the proprietary technology behind our portal, we can be agile and make changes quickly. The Scenario Calculator means a broker can sit with a client, run the numbers on the spot, and move straight to application, all with the client sitting in front of them. This is just the first of many things to come as Bridgit enters this next phase of growth, as we continue to build a digital platform that unlocks equity for Australians. Brokers asked and we listened."
