HeirWealth Welcomes Andrew Barros to Advisory Board

Australian-based wealthtech HeirWealth is delighted to announce the appointment of  Andrew Barros to its esteemed Advisory Board.

With over two decades of experience in family office and private wealth management, Mr  Barros is set to play a pivotal role in advancing HeirWealth’s go-to-market strategy and  supporting advisers in the evolving family office landscape.

HeirWealth CEO and fellow board member, Ray Tubman, expressed his enthusiasm for the  appointment, stating:

“We are thrilled to have Andrew join the HeirWealth Advisory board and know that his  extensive expertise in scaling purposeful businesses, driving strategic innovations, and  addressing the unique and complex needs of family offices will bring immense value to our  platform and our clients.

"Andrew’s appointment strengthens our ability to scale with purpose. His experience will  be key as we grow our presence in the family office space and continue to enhance the  value we deliver to advisors and their clients,” said Mr Tubman.

Over the past two decades, Andrew has played a leading role as part of founding teams  that successfully built and scaled two wealth advisory firms, achieving significant  outcomes for all stakeholders.

“I am excited about the opportunity to join Ray and the HeirWealth team at this critical  point in the company’s journey,” said Mr Barros.

“HeirWealth is uniquely positioned to empower families and advisers with the innovative  tools and insights to navigate the complexities of intergenerational wealth transfer and I’m  proud to assist with my expertise in family wealth management,” he said.

Andrew joins an already accomplished board at HeirWealth, including Geoff Lloyd (Chair),  Connie McKeage, Daniel Baldovin, Jason Nyilas and Ray Tubman. Together, they bring  extensive experience across wealth management, private banking, family offices, financial  technology, and strategic advisory.

“We’re entering a new era where families are demanding more from their advisers and  accountants - greater clarity, deeper conversations, and tools that reflect the complexity  of modern wealth,” said Mr Barros.

Currently, Mr Barros works with local and global family offices, engaging beyond financial  capital and into the areas of human and social capital; helping them navigate  intergenerational wealth, governance, and purpose-driven decision-making. Mr Barros  also sits on the boards of companies focused on financial inclusion and wealth accessibility; and serves as Chair of the Investment Committee at Mercury Private, a  boutique advisory firm in Sydney that caters to family office and high-net-worth clients.

In addition, he is an industry panel member for the Australian Financial Complaints  Authority (AFCA), where he contributes to the resolution of complex financial services  disputes, specifically within the Investments and Advice jurisdiction.

“I joined HeirWealth because it’s uniquely positioned to bridge that gap and I look forward  to supporting the team as we shape a platform that truly elevates the adviser-client  relationship and helps families make confident, values-based decisions across  generations,” said Mr Barros.

The appointment of Mr Barros comes at a time of significant growth and innovation for  HeirWealth. The platform offers a comprehensive view of assets and liabilities spanning 40  different classes, including traditional investments like shares, funds, and property, as  well as non-traditional assets such as collectibles and alternative investments.

The HeirWealth platform not only documents an entire wealth portfolio but also equips  financial professionals with tools to identify opportunities for proactive engagement and  sharing information with clients and the next generation of wealth holders.
