AUDD
Regulated Australian dollar stablecoin: infrastructure, whitelabel and direct issuing.
Compliant AUD settlement for institutions moving onto digital rails.
AUDC Pty Ltd operates licensed AUD settlement infrastructure, live across eight blockchain networks. The member reports the entity as operational since 2022 with four years of AUSTRAC compliance history, and gives the product stage as one to three years, which reflects live customer-serving operations rather than the age of the entity.
AUD settlement has no licensed rail
Fintechs, digital asset companies and banks are actively migrating onto digital rails, but AUD settlement has no compliant, licensed infrastructure to move onto. Legacy banking bleeds 2 to 5% in fees and takes 3 to 7 days to clear. Building a licensed alternative independently requires 2 to 3 years and up to $12M, which most cannot justify.
Licensed AUD settlement infrastructure
AUDC Pty Ltd, the issuer of the AUDD token, has built extensively licensed AUD settlement infrastructure, AFSL-authorised across non-cash payments, basic deposit products and government securities, for both retail and wholesale clients. The member confirms FX is not in scope. Digital asset exchange is authorised separately, under registration as a digital currency exchange provider with AUSTRAC. Operational since 2022, live across eight blockchain networks, with $2B+ in verified transaction volume, RBA Project Acacia participation and 20+ institutional integrations.
Compliance history cannot be backdated
The member reports four years of AUSTRAC compliance history and monthly attestations, which cannot be backdated. ASIC licensing across a very broad AFSL scope, extended into New Zealand with NZDSC, took years to build and cannot be shortcut. Add an extensive global and APAC ecosystem: these are assets a competitor cannot buy.
The market they are selling into.
The AUD anchors $1.26 trillion in annual cross-border flows. Non-USD stablecoins have grown 319% in three years. New Australian digital asset legislation makes AFSL the mandatory compliance gateway. As assets move on-chain, AUD settlement needs will escalate.
Technology and compliance
AFSL covering non-cash payments, basic deposit products and government securities. AUSTRAC VASP registration. NZ FSPR registration. ISO 27001. SOC 2 Type II underway, due end 2026. FX is not within the AFSL scope. Digital asset exchange is authorised under the AUSTRAC digital currency exchange registration, which the member refers to as its DCE or VASP licence.
Three compounding revenue streams.
The member reports annual revenue in the $500K to $2M band, with no single customer concentration.
