Building Victoria’s digital workforce

Technology continues to revolutionise the way we live and work.

For businesses to thrive in a digital world, Victoria needs more people with digital skills for digital jobs. The Victorian Government’s new Digital Jobs program aims to build the state’s digital workforce by training and upskilling mid-career Victorians so they can transition into digital careers. Candidates undertake 12 weeks of free digital skills training, before being placed in a digital job for 12 weeks.

Victorian businesses are invited to host candidates through an internship arrangement. Participating businesses will also gain access to the broader talent pool to find new recruits for digital jobs.
