Superhero launches digital asset strategy in partnership with Bitstamp

Superhero, one of Australia's fastest-growing investment and superannuation platforms, today announced the launch of Superhero Crypto in partnership with Robinhood's crypto exchange, Bitstamp by Robinhood. The launch marks the first step in Superhero's multi-year digital asset roadmap covering tokenisation, stablecoins, custody, digital wallets and blockchain settlement.

Superhero Crypto will enable Australian investors to buy, sell and hold supported digital assets, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH), directly within their Superhero portfolio.

The Bitstamp by Robinhood partnership forms a core part of Superhero's foundation as it steps further into digital assets and extends the reach of its proprietary infrastructure.

Superhero's growth to date has been driven largely by its proprietary digital infrastructure. That technology supports Superhero and its own partners across more than $4 billion in superannuation savings across 100,000 members and a total investor base of around 500,000, including its share trading operations.

The partnership addresses a genuine gap in Australia's retail investment landscape by providing integrated access to digital assets on a regulated platform, backed by institutional-quality execution and custody infrastructure.

Superhero CEO John Winters said the partnership would deliver exactly what Australian investors have been asking for.

"As the world of digital assets and tokenisation steps into a new phase, this partnership stands us in good stead to not only meet our customers' needs but set a benchmark for the broader ecosystem," Mr Winters said.

"The team at Bitstamp by Robinhood have been fantastic to work with. Their focus on customers, including those of their partners, is why this partnership is built to succeed.”

“Australia’s digital asset landscape is rapidly evolving, and working with trusted platforms is a way to further establish its legitimacy,” said Nicola White, VP of Institutional Crypto and GM of Bitstamp at Robinhood Crypto.

“Through this partnership, Superhero Crypto will be able to use Bitstamp’s institutional-grade infrastructure to offer their users the best experience available. We’re excited to help bring a new avenue for crypto to the Australian market with the Superhero team.”
