Specialist farm insurer, Achmea Farm Insurance, developed the Portal to give eligible farmers a simpler way to arrange Stud Stock Insurance online after purchasing stud bulls and rams, whether at sales across the country or through online livestock platforms.
Recent high-value bull sales across several key breeds have shown the value many Australian farmers place on elite genetics. Reflecting this, the average insured sum for bulls covered by Achmea Farm Insurance last year exceeded $50,000.
The Portal includes secure payment options, including Visa and Mastercard (credit/debit card). Monoova supports the card payment capability, helping Achmea Farm Insurance provide a convenient online payment experience at a time-sensitive point in the sale process.
For farmers buying high-value stud stock, the practical benefit is clear. A process that has traditionally involved manual paperwork can now be completed online. Through the new portal, they can now buy stud stock insurance online and securely pay on their mobile or laptop.

It provides online cover options for stud bulls and rams valued up to $100,000, with no need to be an existing Achmea Farm Insurance client. For animals valued above $100,000, buyers can contact Achmea Farm Insurance directly on 1800 724 214.
